In his new position as the 1st Kapellmeister and associate general music director Ektoras Tartanis will lead the first ballet-production of the season 2017/18 at the State Opera house of Bremerhaven with Sergei Prokofiev's most famous ballet: Romeo and Juliet. Prokofiev wrote his ballet music based on Shakespeare's same-named drama, which tells of the probably most famous love couple in the history of literature and theatre.
